Amidst all of the American flags and presidential seals, there was something missing when President Barack Obama gave an economic speech at Georgetown University this week — Jesus.
The White House asked Georgetown to cover a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name in Gaston Hall, which Obama used for his speech, according to CNSNews.com.
The gold “IHS” monogram inscribed on a pediment in the hall was covered over by a piece of black-painted plywood, and remained covered over the next day, CNSNews.com reported.
The Washington Times’ Belief Blog asked the university about the presidential request: Julie Bataille from the university’s press office e-mailed me that the White House had asked that all university signage and symbols behind the stage in Gaston Hall be covered.
“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she wrote. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”

You get a similar thing fostered by the notorious judaizer Dr John Hagee who has worked closely with the Jewish Lobby to set up Christians United for Israel (CUFI), which is dedicated to unite all evangelical Christians across America “to speak and act with one voice in support of Israel”.
Hagee says Jews have their own covenant with God and don’t need Jesus for salvation; and hence he has promised his Jews that he won’t try to convert them, and will diminish his use of the name of Jesus in their presence.

Hagee and other “Israel first” evangelicals reflect a flourishing heresy: Jews have their own covenant with God and do not need Jesus for salvation.
Jesus taught the opposite. He said His name should be proclaimed to “to all nations.” (Matt. 28:19) The New Testament hardly exempts Jews from need of the gospel. Instead, it instructs Christians to witness “to the Jew first” and then to the Gentile (Romans 2:10).
But Hagee has agreed with anti-Christ Jews that he and evangelical members of CUFI will follow only Jewish “non-conversionary” policies. This excludes any possibility that the Holy Spirit might use such evangelicals to help save Jewish sinners.
This is a blatant sin against Jesus, His Holy Spirit, and, tragically, against Jews. The word “apostate” (“apostasis” in Greek) describes a backslidden Christian who, now loving the approval of man, stands apart from Jesus and the reproach of His name. The New Testament prophesies that in the latter days there will occur a great “falling away,” as former Christians deny Christ’s name to please unbelievers (2 Thess. 2:3). A recent poll shows 95 percent of evangelicals like Hagee are committed to never actively mention the name of Jesus, through witnessing or reproof, in their workplace. The great falling away prophesied by Scripture is now.
Two thousand years ago the Pharisees demanded that the apostles not “talk about Jesus” ["specifically that they should not speak IN THE NAME of Jesus"]. The disciples refused and were thrown in prison and flogged. (Acts 4:3, 5:40)
In contrast Pastor Hagee gives the synagogue of Satan exactly what it demands. He promises not to mention the name of Jesus among them. As a result, evil Jewish leaders exalt him.
Way back in Old Testament times it was known that God had a Son, because even the pagan king Nebuchadnezzar said “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” (Dan. 3.25). But what wasn’t revealed until the advent of Jesus was the name of God’s Son; and since he was crucified by the Jews for Satan, the Jews have sought to corrupt and blot out his name. Not simply to get rid of the corporate guilt they feel as co-religionists for the crime of the Crucifixion, but also so that Gentiles won’t use it to call on the Father for salvation, and so there’ll be less converts to Christ to oppose Satan and his Jews in this life, and more sinners in hell come judgment day.
This nasty and somewhat paranoid assault by Jews on the name and memory of Jesus Christ has had many fronts and taken on many guises; and has principally involved corrupting biblical doctrine and the very words of God in the various ‘versions’ of the Bible. It has also evidently even issued in weird things like Jews superstitiously striking through the central letter of the three that make up the word “God”, so that it reads as “G-d”, and thus blots out any allusion the Jews might think there is in it to Jesus as central to the biblical Trinitarian Deity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The foregoing has been done in much the same way that paranoid Jews on the run from God write “Xmas” for Christmas, and “Xtianity” for Christianity – the latter being in use by the Jews from as early as the 16th century. Indeed many Jews have an aversion to addressing letters to the city of Christchurch in New Zealand, in the southwest Pacific, lest they should seem to be admitting, indirectly or otherwise, that Jesus is the anointed of God; and they don’t like living there, because they know it’s named for someone they’ve traditionally hated without a cause.
In fact many Jews refuse to write or utter the name of Jesus Christ; except perhaps to spontaneously blaspheme him as and when required, and lest they should be condemned by their co-religionists for confessing in one way or another that he is the messiah – the anointed of God.
The equivalent of “Jesus” in Hebrew is “Jeshua”, but it’s now rarely given to Jews, despite its early popularity among tribal Israelis. For even a Jewish high priest in the Old Testament and two Jewish high priests appointed just prior to the Jewish revolt against Rome in 66 AD were named Jeshua, and it’s a thoroughly honourable name, meaning: “Jehovah is salvation”.
The Jews generally don’t now like to give their children the name of Jeshua, primarily because they don’t want to be suspected of having sympathy for Jesus Christ or Christianity, but also because their rabbis have taught them that Jesus had a whore for a mother, was born a bastard, lived as an impostor, and rose from the dead by incantations. Jews also don’t like to give their children the wonderful name of Jesus because they believe he has been the chief reason for their misfortune, ‘persecution’, and misery down through the last two millenniums, which is, of course, quite true, but only because of the Jews’ wicked rejection of him and vindictive persecution of Christians who bear witness to him, which has provoked God to wrath and left Israel broken off from the promises and blessings of God in Christ.

In fact the monogram “Yeschu” (also Yeshu) is first found in anecdotes in the Babylonian Talmud and the Jewish tractate Tosefta, where it sacrilegiously alludes to Jesus Christ, viz …
* Yeshu ben Pandera, who is cited as the teacher of a second century CE heretic (Chullin 2:22-24, Avodah Zarah 16b-17a).
* A sorcerer who had been stoned in Lod on the eve of one Passover (Sanhedrin 43a).
* As an example of a “son who burns his food in public” (Sanhedrin 103a, Berakhot 17b) and who was identified as Manasseh of Judah son of Hezekiah in a corresponding account in the Shulchan Arukh.
* An idolatrous former student of the early first century BCE rabbi Yehoshua ben Perachiah (Sanhedrin 107b).
The name of Yeshu also appears in the blasphemous Jewish tractate Toldoth Yeshu, which is highly regarded by Orthodox/Hasidic Jews, and provides an ignominious ancestry for Christ that imitates and ridicules the ancestry of the Lord provided in Matthew’s gospel, cites him as a bastard and an impostor, and says he was crucified on a cabbage tree after being dragged by his hair from a horse.
Toldoth Yeshu also sacrilegiously says Jesus was defiled by Judas Iscariot who ostensibly urinated on him, which generally concurs with the way Jews have urinated and defecated on things considered sacred by Muslims and Christians in Palestine in recent times. Jews have vindictively defecated on desks in offices in Palestinian government department buildings, and urinated in the mouths of Arabs prisoners, as a counterpart of the way Israelis tourists have vindictively defecated in beds and swimming pools at hotels in Poland as a protest against Nazi treatment of Jews in the ghettos.
A Jew spun Wikipedia article tries to deliver the Jews from culpability in the horrible blasphemy of Toldoth Yeshu by arguing:

The character is primarily based on an individual mentioned in the Talmud and Tosefta named ben Stada. Due to the Gospel parallels and the equation of the name “Yeshu” with “Jesus”, the story of Toldoth Yeshu narratives is typically viewed as a derogatory account of the life of Jesus resulting from Jewish reaction to persecution by Christians. However the story is set in a different era to Jesus and the central character is based on several personalities of which the Jesus like figure is only one. The story has also been described as a “romance about the tragic fate of a young man mistaken in his ways [which is really either reiterating and/or couching in 'unoffensive' terms what almost every Jew they really believes about Jesus Christ].”
The Kabbalah of the Jews is akin to the Talmud, and also makes a concerted effort to corrupt and blaspheme the name of Jesus.

The principle founder of this [Florentine] Christian Cabalistic school was Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463-94). This young genius began his kabbalistic studies in 1486 at the age of 23, and had a large selection of kabbalistic material translated into Latin by Samuel ben Nissim who was himself a convert to Catholicism. Pico later had Raymond Moncada, known as Flavius Mithridates, translate for him as well. Among his 900 theses that he publicly displayed for debate in Rome included the statement, “no science can better convince us of the divinity of Jesus Christ than magic and the Kabbalah,” thus bringing the Kabbalah to many in the Christian world for the first time.
The Church’s reaction was one of fierce opposition and rejection to this and other propositions made by Pico. The public debate Pico wanted was guaranteed. Kabbalah now became the principle discussion in the Christian intellectual world, as it was seen as an otherwise unknown Jewish esoteric doctrine that had been overlooked or lost completely. Christian Platonists in Germany, Italy, and France quickly attached themselves to Pico’s school of thought. Pico’s works also caused Johannes Reuchlin, the famed Christian Hebrew scholar, to undertake kabbalistic studies, publishing two books on it as a result – De Verbo Mirifico (On the Miracle-Working Name, 1494) and De Arte Cabalistica (on the Science of the Kabbalah, 1517).
Between the publishing of Reuchlin’s Verbo and Arte, a number of works appeared from the pen of Paul Ricius. Ricius was himself a convert to Catholicism, as well as the physician to Emperor Maximilian, and had a reputation for being erudite. Ricius took the ideas of Pico and Reuchlin and added to them his own conclusions based upon kabbalistic and Christian sources, forming a doctrine of the “Divine Name” and its relationship to world history.
According to Ricius, all of world history could be divided into three stages based upon the names of God found in the Bible. The first period was the natural period where God reveals himself through the three lettered Divine Name Shaddai (The Strong). The second phase is the Torah period, were God reveals to Moses the Divine Name of four letters, the Tetragrammaton, or YHVH. The final period, or period of grace and redemption, God reveals the Tetragrammaton plus the fifth letter shin, or the letter of the Logos (Christ), spelling Yehoshua or the Cabalistic rendition of Jesus, name. Thus, the name of Jesus, or the Miraculous Name, become the pronounceable name of the previously unpronounceable YHVH. To support his argument, Ricius used medieval manuscripts in which Jesus’ name was abbreviated JHS, the Jewish-kabbalistic doctrine of three world ages (Chaos, Torah, Messiah), and the similar doctrine of Joachiam of Fiore, who proposed a reign, or age, of the Father, Son, and finally, the Holy Spirit. Many of these concepts, particularly the significance of shin in the Divine Name, and the Reign of the Paraclete (Holy Spirit) would play a significant part in the development of 19th and early 20th century French (Levi and his successors) occult schools and their philosophies.
What makes the writings of Pico and Reuchlin significant, is that they placed for the first time the kabbalah in the broader cultural and theological context of Christian (principally Catholic) Europe and its intelligentsia. Their focus on “Divine Names,” practical or magical kabbalah, and the synthesis of Christian doctrine with kabalistic philosophy and speculation, became the zeitgeist of the era.

In more recent times, the Jews’ principal line of attack on the wonderful name of Jesus has come from some of their duped judaizing acolytes in the Hebrew Roots movement, who have fallen for the Jew lie that the real name of the Saviour is Jehoshua (i.e., Joshua) and not Jesus, which has doubtless even denied many of them access to God and his salvation, because it is only by calling on the name of Jesus – and not Jehoshua or Joshua – that anyone can be saved from hell and damnation.
The name of Jehoshua (also Jahoshua, Yahushuwa, etc., etc.,) means: “Jehovah is salvation” or “Jehovah saves”, and its equivalent is Joshua, with a similar meaning: “Jehovah is his help” or Jehovah the Saviour”. The name of Hoshea (also Hosea, Oshea, and Osse) is simply a diminutive of Jehoshua and Joshua, and means: “salvation” or “save” – c.f., hosanna means: “save now” or “save, we beseech thee”.
On the other hand, Jeshua (also Jeshuah) is a variant (note: VARIANT AND NOT AN EQUIVALENT) of Joshua, albeit with the same meaning. For the Hebrew of “he will save” is yoshai, and has affinity with Joshua and the same Hebrew root as Jeshua; and “Jeshua” is the masculine form of the Hebrew yeshu’ah, meaning “salvation”.
The Latin name of Jesus is a translation of the Greek Iesous, which is in turn a transliteration of the Hebrew “Jeshuah” or “Jeshua” – but not of Jehoshua or Joshua and their diminutives; and it means: “Jehovah is salvation” or “Jehovah saves”.
Linguists evidently created the Greek name of “Iesous” – popular in the Hellenistic era in Palestine – as a transliteration of Jeshua, and with the Greek verb: iasthai, meaning “to heal”, in mind. For they would have known that Jesus Christ heals those who come to him; just as they created the name of “Jason” as a purely Greek analogon of “Jesus” at about the same time. But that doesn’t make the names of “Jesus” and “Jason” illegitimate, as so many in the Hebrew Roots movement and other judaizers, who advocate the use of the name Jehoshua, Jahoshua, etc, for the name of God’s Son, would have us believe; because transliterations and analogons are perfectly legitimate linguistic devices in their own right.
What then really is the name of God’s Son? The real name of God’s Son is, indeed, Jesus and its true equivalents like Jeshua and Iesous in other languages; and scripture says it’s “above every name”, and the “only name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”.
The foregoing is endorsed by the power the name of Jesus has to cast out demons and bring on the manifestation of the Holy Ghost for those who pray to God the Father through it – this is not achieved by using any other name. Indeed it’s also proved by fallen humanity’s use of the name of Jesus as a cuss word, because sinners don’t seem to come up with names like Joshua, Jehoshua, Yahushua, or even Hitler, etc, as cuss words, when speaking spontaneously; simply because they know deep in their fallen (demonic) spirit that the name of Jesus is, indeed, the name of the Son of God.

I received an email from a friend last night and I am sorry I dumped it. But the content was that the US Military is about to spend billions removing the crosses from the tombs of the military dead and replacing them with something less Christian.
Personally, I am Muslim. However this is WRONG. America is a Christian nation and it is having everything that makes it Christian removed by the B’nai Br’ith and its minions. No school prayer, no Bibles, no Christmas, they are doing what they did to Akhenaton of Egypt. Removing all traces of his existence …

I don’t know about the email you got; but this business of the ACLU trying to remove crosses and/or symbols of religious significance from federal property in the U.S. has been highlighted in news articles and discusssed by bloggers for sometime now.
This article probably pretty much sums up the sentiments of most Americans on the issue, and I’d doubt the crosses at Arlington would be removed by some Jew controlled outfit like the ACLU without a firefight …

Why are you likening what B’nai B’rith and its acolytes have ostensibly been doing by removing things to do with Jesus from U.S. society with the “removal of all traces of Akhenaton of Egypt”?
Is that not a snide reference to what you Muslims hypocritically detest in the false sect of Roman Catholicism – worship of the sun – the Aten or sun disc of the pagan Egyptian idolaters? I say “hypocritically”, because sun disc worship in the heretical R.C. denomination is recognized by true Christians as a form of idolatry and a sort of counterpart of the pagan moon god worship of the Muslims.
Also the cross is recognized as a symbol of our “fallen dead” in more ways than one – fallen dead military servicemen and the fallen dead of the cross – Jesus who died in the service of God but is, of course, now raised from the dead. Some might take your comment as a subtle insult to the death of Jesus – even sacrilege that likens Jesus to Akenathon.
On the face of it Barbara L, you come across as somewhat offended by something I’ve put up on this Weblog that exposes the fraud of Islam. Go ahead, I dare you – show me a verse in the Quran where Allah asks Muslims to venerate the moon, worship it or pay it special respect.
Contrary to your propaganda, the moon does have a prominent place in Islam – it always has, ever since the followers of Muhammad took over the shrine of the Persian moon god, now called the Kaaba, in the midst of the mosque of the Kaaba, in Mecca. Muslims pray to Mecca and go on Hajj to that city simply because that’s where the Arab’s idols were located in ancient times.
Every Islamic ordinance is ordered according to the moon – Muslims use a lunar calendar, put a crescent moon on the flag of a muslim nation, and fall down to worship in mosques with a crescent moon on top of them.

Whatever or whoever you may think your g-d is, he, she, it is not at all the God of the biblical patriarchs and hence not at all the God of creation. For while your worship as a Muslim is at least on paper monotheistic, your g-d is officially also Unitarian, and hence in conflict with the true and living God who is, of course, revealed in the design of nature and all of pure science, and throughout the Bible as strictly Trinitarian.

1. Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC.
In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kaaba.
2. This Hubal was a moon god.
3. One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaaba today and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world.
3. About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo … a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaaba. There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as “Allah”.

1. You’ve failed to prove that the Quran or Prophetic traditions give the moon a divine attribute or otherwise made it special.
The Quran clearly states that the moon is just one of the created things of God. Islamic doctrine clearly says that there’s in creation which is nothing like God.
Please disprove this.
2. The Kaabah has been described as the first house built to worship God.
When Muslims took Mecca, the first thing which occurred was the Kaabah was cleansed of all idols.
Idoltry is the only unforgivable sin which a Muslim can commit.
Therefore to suggest that the pilgrimage to Mecca is done to celebrate the idols which used to be there is ridiculous.
3. Who says that having a moon on the flag of a Muslim country is a must ?
Which doctrine of Islam says that ?
You’ve failed to note that flags of many Muslim countries do not have the crescent moon – Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Indonesia, Egypt, Morocco,Sudan and Senegal to name a few.
4. To say that we follow the lunar calendar because we worship the moon is to say that you Christians worship the sun because you follow the Gregorian calendar.
BTW, the lunar calendar is more accurate than the Gregorian one. Enough said.
5. To say that we worship the moon because some of our mosques have moon-shaped designs on top is to say that the Orthodox Christians worship the onion because their domes are onion-shaped.
Again, look at the main mosques in Mecca and Madina, and the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Do they have moon-shaped designs on top ?
Many mosques actually don’t.
6. If you care to study history, the moon-design was adopted by the Turks after they conquered Constatinople.
I dare you to prove to us that before this event, the moon was prominent in Muslim designs whether flags or on mosques.
I think you’ve been convicted in your conscience that there’s some truth in what I said, or you wouldn’t have come back to try to justify yourself.
I don’t have to resort to the Quran for proof that Muslims don’t worship the pagan Persian moon idol, because I have VERY SOUND reasons for not recognizing it as final authority in respect of the issue before us.

Actually I would say that because there’s no evidence whatsoever that the house of the Kaabah was immersed by and survived the Noachian flood that it didn’t pre-date 2350 BC, which means it’s nowhere near as old as the structures the UNGODLY biblical patriarchs on earth would have built to their idols and who go back to circa 4004 BC — I say UNGODLY patriarchs and IDOLS, because there was no house for the true and living God (a trinitarian deity) erected until the LORD commanded Moses to erect a tabernacle for the Shekinah in the wilderness after the children of Israel were brought out of Egypt by Jehovah by signs and wonders.
If anything, the house of the Kaaba draped in black cloth looks a bit like a pretty poor imitation of the LORD’s tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness draped with badgers’ skin — an IMITATION that by very word usuage must have post-dated it.
Muhammud’s followers may well have cast the idols out of the Kaaba early in the piece, but there’s no doubt that his followers brought them back in when they set up a black meteorite in it that ostensibly fell from the moon or some other satellite or planet.
Anyway, cleansing a pagan house that was built for idols doesn’t make the house no longer a place of idolatry; and that’s certainly quite different from the way the Israelites cleansed the house of the LORD (the true and living God) of idols on various occasions in their history to get power with him again.
Some flags of Muslim nations don’t have the pagan crescent moon idol on them, but Muslims should tell nations that do have it on their flags to remove it, because that’s a form of idolatry; and the crescent moon should certainly be removed from mosques, because that’s where Muslims bow down to worship.
I think the Arabs in the Midldle East only started the false idolatry of Islam because they were jealous of the true tribal Israelis in their general vicinity, who had the covenant blessings from the Hebrew partiarch Abraham, which came via his son Isaac and not his son Ishmael, the patriarch of the Arabic people; and because they were too proud to humble themselves and come up to Jerusalem and worship the God of the Hebrews as proselytes.
Sadly, by stiffening their necks and hardening their hearts, and turning away from the true and living God of the Hebrews, the Arabs and every Muslim of other nations who has joined with them to worship the false unitarian deity Allah has gone down to a fiery hell for idolatry after dying the death.
The foregoing also explains why Muslims in the Middle East have no power with God to prevail over the satanic Jews who have some among them who are true tribal Israelis who are yet under the Abrahmic covenant, but not in the good of the blessings of it because they haven’t yet received Jesus as messiah, and who are getting help from God because his ancient affection for them is being rekindled again.

Firstly, you’ve NOT been able to prove so far that the Quran or the Prophetic traditions teach, encourage or insinuate the worship of the moon or otherwise that the moon is divine is some ways or others.
Yet this should be the foundation of your argument.
The Quran is EXTREMELY EXPLICIT in teaching Muslims that God is only one, that He has no beginning or end, that He does not beget or begotten, and that there is nothing which is like Him.
Everything in creation, the Quran says, was created by God including trees, stars, the sun, animals, human beings and yes, the moon.
So how can you argue that Allah is the moon God when Allah Himself denies that ?
I’ve asked you to disprove the above point at least for the third time and you’ve came out empty.
Now, unable to disprove of this fact, you have conveniently argue that you DON’T NEED to give proofs from the Quran.
Instead, now you’ve changed your argument that it is the Muslims who worship the moon despite the injunctions of Islam.

Please prove that in our rituals, we have made the moon our God or worship it along with Allah.
In our five daily prayers, do we worship the moon ? In our supplications, do we call out to the moon ? In our fasting, do we fast to honour the moon ?
Give us just ONE example – just ONE – where our religious ritual is dedicated in ANYWAY to the moon.

There’s no way that you can prove that the moon on the flags on some Muslim countries – most of which came into existence only in the 20th century – is because of Muslim supposed reverence to the moon.

Fourthly, you’ve failed to show that the moon-design on some mosques reflect our reverence to the moon or that having them constitute idolatry.
Here, you’ve failed to explain the biggest anomaly – why there are no moon-designs on the most important mosques in Islam – the Sacred Mosque in Mecca, the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina and the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.

If we as Muslims don’t worship the moon, never did, how can that be idolatrous for us ? For us, that’s just a design.
Your argument that just because some people used to worship the moon and now some mosques and the flags of some Muslim countries carry the moon-design therefore it is idolatrous is simply ridiculous.

The swastika is regarded differently by both the Nazis and the Buddhists and that difference need to be noted and understood.
